I’m on a mission to help people like you achieve your full potential by guiding you toward better health. As a 65-year-old grandmother of two beautiful girls and mother of three grown children, I understand the challenges that come with age, family responsibilities, and the desire to live a life full of vitality. Whether you’re battling diet and lifestyle-related diseases or simply seeking to feel your best, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
My journey began in 2004 when a dear friend opened my eyes to the power of herbal medicine. She taught me about the hidden dangers of over-the-counter remedies and personal care products, and I quickly replaced them with herbal tinctures and creams she made herself. I cleaned up my diet, gave up soda, and embraced a more natural way of living. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2009, I believe it was these changes that kept the cancer from spreading beyond a single lymph node. Remarkably, I never needed any treatment (beyond the lymph node being surgically removed prior to diagnosis, due to its large size). Around the same time, I was also diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid. Despite medical advice to destroy my thyroid with radioactive isotopes, I chose a different path and successfully reversed the condition using Chinese herbs prescribed by a Naturopathic Doctor.
In 2008, at a Warp Tour concert at the Nassau Coliseum (where I was chaperoning my teenage daughter, niece, and nephew) I encountered a group of college students promoting veganism. They introduced me to the harsh realitiesof factory farming, and from that moment on, I never ate meat or chicken again. Over time, I also gave up fish, eggs and dairy, fully embracing a plant-based lifestyle by 2019. My most recent transformation came in February 2024 when I adopted a whole foods, plant-based diet, eliminating sugar and significantly reducing salt, oil, and alcohol. This shift allowed me to finally shed the stubborn 15 pounds and belly fat I had carried since menopause. The cravings that once controlled me have nearly disappeared, and I now feel more vibrant and energized than ever.
What started as a mission of compassion has evolved into a deeply personal journey to stay healthy and vibrant as I age. I’ve realized that time is precious, and I want to spend the rest of my life full of amazing experiences, enjoying this glorious world, and being there for my grandchildren as they grow.
